WOULD YOU NOTICE?
Sister has stopped joining the others at meals.
She says, “I’m fine.”
But lately, she eats less, speaks less, and spends more time alone.
Would you simply accept “I’m fine”?
🔎 LOOK CLOSER.
A change in behaviour can sometimes be a way of communicating that something isn’t right.
Instead of immediately assuming she’s being difficult or simply doesn’t want company:
Notice.
Ask gently.
Listen.
Don’t rush to judge.
Share concerns when appropriate.
💭 YOUR TURN
What would YOU do first?
A. Leave her alone
B. Encourage her to join the others
C. Sit with her and gently ask how she’s doing
D. Ask someone else to check on her
